How to read this page
Switching model holds the instant, not the forecast hour. The two centres run on different cycles, so +40 h on one is rarely +40 h on another. This page keeps the valid time across every switch and says when the nearest frame it could find is off.
The colours are not comparable between models. The values are. Each centre renders on its own palette over its own range, so the legend is redrawn every time you switch. To compare, click the map: both are probed at that point, at the same instant, in one set of units.
A field one centre does not publish stays in the menu, greyed. ICON has no visibility here, ECMWF no upper-air fields.
